Patriot Garden Sheds

At Classic Garden Structures, our highly-customizable Patriot garden sheds are designed for those who prefer that their outbuildings be built the way they have been for centuries. Many of these preferences can be traced back to New England, where tradition is highly revered. And while we may use state-of-the-art tools to design your Patriot, we use time-tested Lancaster County experience to build it.

The Patriot now comes in traditional pine siding, as well as cedar and our other low-maintenance materials. The choice is up to you. If you’re a traditionalist, we’re one of the few sources for the “real thing” when it comes to traditionally-designed and constructed sheds and other small structures.

Created specially for those who prefer the tradition of New England construction, the Patriot has very little roof overhang on the gable ends, resulting in the famous “saltbox” look of colonial-era New England. In this style the smaller eaves helped prevent snow and ice from damming up during winter freeze and thaw cycles that could cause expensive roof damage.

The very narrow eave is one telltale sign of the Patriot design. The higher pitched roof is another sign, traditional because of its greater efficiency of shedding snow loads in colder regions.
