Doors

At Classic Garden Structures, our sheds include these three basic styles that apply to all door types, including both single and double doors.

Classic Standard

Basic rugged and functional rectangle-based frame, with handsome curved trim detail at the top. Solid Duratemp® inset panels with MiraTEC® composite trim sections, powder-coated galvanized steel hinges with nylon bushings. The interior side of every door is painted. Inset windows may be added, and transom windows may be placed above the door.

Eyebrow

The eyebrow door features an elegant curved top. Hinge points are strategically placed for maximum strength. Solid Duratemp® inset panels with solid MiraTEC® composite trim sections, powder-coated galvanized steel hinges with nylon bushings. Inset windows may be added. The interior side of every door is painted.

Arch

This dramatic style is exclusive to Classic Garden Structure, and requires precision equipment and a special skill to craft this door based on concentric curves. The trim and tops of the door panels are routed from a single piece of MiraTEC® composite material, so there are no joints to split over time. Solid Duratemp® inset panels with solid MiraTEC® composite frame sections, powder-coated galvanized steel hinges with nylon bushings. The interior side of every door is painted.

Door Details

We manufacture all hinged doors installed on our products. Our designs have proven rugged and durable over time, as well as aesthetically-pleasing to the eye. The trim is crafted from MiraTEC® composite, and exceptionally strong and maintenance-free material. The panels are made of Duratemp®, the same material used on the outer sheathing in many of our structures. The interior side of every door is painted. Both materials hold paint extremely well, and feature a high relief, splinter-free grained texture that is a pleasure to touch as well as to see.

Garage Doors

We offer two basic garage door types: Barn-Style and Overhead. Barn-Style doors feature an 8’ wide opening and will fit the Manor and Elite Models. Overhead style doors are available 8’ wide or 9’ wide opening. Garage doors are helpful for storing boats, ATVs, large lawn tractors and mowers and similar equipment. Our structures, which come standard with wood floors, can be reinforced to accommodate a car or truck. A concrete slab is a long-lasting and durable choice as well, and can be provided by a local contractor.

What we call the Barn-style door opens like a gate. Overhead styles come with two types of front detail: Standard 4-panel garage door, or Carriage style, where hinge placement provides the appearance of a Barn-style door. In addition, all of our garage doors can be customized with the window options shown below.

Specialty Doors

Because we are a custom manufacturer, we can provide doors of virtually any type, size and configuration available in the building trades. We can get provide just about any door available through standard building supply channels. And in our Elite models, the wall height accommodates all standard door sizes.

Dutch Doors

We can fabricate any hinged door into a Dutch style, where the top half and bottom half of the doors function separately. Those using a Classic Garden Structure for small animals, where you need containment but also want to provide added light and ventilation, sometimes prefer these. Some people just like the old-fashioned quaint look of Dutch doors. Either way, we’re happy to make them for you.

Inset and Transom Windows

Every Classic Garden Structure Door can be enhanced with transom windows. These windows may be placed within the frame of the door, which we call an “inset” window. Or windows may be placed above the doorframe, a traditional transom window. These window styles have been selected to coordinate with and complement our basic door styles: Rectangle, Eyebrow and Arch.
